#41 Dress like Andy. Never mind that the party is August 8 and that you’ll be dancing up a storm at Playthink Studio’s Silver Factory birthday party. You’ll never go wrong dressed in leather and turtleneck. (scarf optional)
#42 Wear sunglasses.
Shades give you that all-important spirit of aloof detachment. It doesn’t matter what time of day it is, in fact 8:00 at night is just the right time. (Just ask international scencester, Joey London. Any time’s the right time to look good.)
43. Impersonate Andy. Here’s some inspiration:
Jared Harris
Guy Pearce
David Bowie
#44 You don’t have to copy Andy. There are plenty other factory people to emulate. (some wearing much less than others)
#45 Have I mentioned the wig?
#46 Realize, of course, that compared with the Silver Factory Superstars,
#47 Feel free to dress any way you want, as anyone you want, in your boots of shiny, shiny leather.
#48 And if your wardrobe is lacking, don’t let that keep you from the party. Come ready to dress up. Costumes will be available.
Co

Wow, Warhol made the very first gay cowboy movie! We’ll have to watch Brokeback to see what Ang lee stole from this “seminal” spaghetti Western.
BTW, almost everybody’s scene sucks. Playthink is lookin’ like the place to be (in Sayton, Ohio!)
Awesome post! I linked to it today in honor of Andy’s birthday…
